Let’s be honest:
Many women weren’t raised to be assertive.
They were raised to be agreeable.
To be:

🔰 Grateful instead of discerning
🔰 Liked instead of respected
From an early age, many women were taught that their safety, belonging, and even love were tied to how well they could regulate the emotions of others.
Women learned:

🔰 If I say no, I’m selfish.
🔰 If I ask for more, I’m ungrateful.
🔰 If I stand my ground, I’m difficult.
So what do they do?
They contort.
They over-explain.
They people please until they don’t even know what their own needs are.
💠 Slowly and quietly, they abandon themselves one silent “yes” at a time. This isn’t weakness, this is survival.
💠 This is a nervous system that once upon a time linked truth with punishment.
And yet…
There comes a moment where the cost of self-abandonment is too high.
🌱 Where the body says no more.
🌱 Where the soul starts asking what if there’s another way?
There comes a point in every strong woman’s journey when she realizes:

🌿 Peace is not surrender.

🌿 Walk away without drama
🌿 Hold space for others without abandoning themselves
🌿 Let go without bitterness
💠They choose the higher path, 🙏🏼 not the quieter one.
💠They choose peace not because they’re weak, but because they’re finally strong enough not to need the war to prove anything.
🧘♀️You’re allowed to stay kind and still hold your ground.
🧘♀️You’re allowed to leave the fire without explaining your burn.
This is embodiment.
This is wisdom in motion.
